(Mon May 4, 6:30 pm Raleigh time) A Repeatable Workflow for Earning Trades — From Idea To Execution To Improvement: Amin Khribi
Next in our series of educational talks on Earnings Trades, we will hear from Amin Khribi, who is the man behind Earnings-Watcher.com, https://earnings-watcher.com/wiki/ . These seems easily the clearest and most methodical site on Earnings Trading that I have found so far. Take a look and you will see what I mean. There are excellent ideas that I think anyone with their own earnings trading approaches could adopt or adapt!
I think Amin’s talk will help everyone synthesize and rationalize the Earnings concepts we have heard in other talks, and plan their own earnings trading. And we will try to get to the bottom line of what works and what does not.
Amin will be very generously presenting after midnight where he is in Europe, and for that reason, as well as just to gain more time for meeting content, we will start at 6:00 pm, which is 30 minutes earlier than previously.
He will discuss from among the following themes:
-Scanning for earnings worth trading (Calendar, Data Picks, Vol Scanner)
-Finding the Edge: Confirming Behavior with Stats (IV Rush, Long/Short Vol, “Stats not Vibes”)
-Modeling Payoff and IV Crush, Comparing Trade Structures
We will have LOTS of time for questions and comments! Certainly his conclusions will be fair game for questions.
We also have several local members who are very active traders in this space, so where possible please come to the Library to chat with them in person as time permits at Oberlin Regional Library, 1930 Clark Ave, Raleigh, NC. We still need a decent turnout to keep getting access to the Library. If you cannot RSVP, just come without RSVPing.
If you can, please RSVP for one of:
